BOOK MIKAILA!! She will leave you in awe. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! From the moment we met her, we knew we were in the best hands. She is not only incredibly talented but also so genuine and down-to-earth. She has a unique ability to make you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, which made such a difference on our big day. She did our engagement photos in Colorado and after that experience I knew without a DOUBT she had to shoot our wedding photos in Wisconsin. The way she's able to maintain total professionalism while also being an absolute hype chick, instant friend, calmer-of-nerves, problem solver (hello wedding day rain and time crunches), and beacon of positivity is really something else. I thought a lot about how I wanted my day to be perfect, but I didn't realize how much my vendors' dispositions would play into that whole dynamic until afterwards. Your photographer is with you the whole wedding day, and I'm so happy it was Mikaila standing with me during mine.

Photography has become much more to me than simply taking photos. It has become a way for me to connect with my couples, happy cry with your people when they see you with your dress on on the morning of your wedding day, smile ear to ear when you get to see your partner for the first time, belly laugh with your wedding party on the party bus, and be so touched by your families speeches. This career has led me into the most beautiful of spaces and stories, and I cannot wait to see where it takes me next.
