Let me start this review by saying you will not find a better photographer than Mikaila Dusenberry. She is the best of the best.
Right from the start, Mikaila was quick to respond to emails and she answered all of my questions with consideration and kindness. She checked in on us multiple times the months leading up to our wedding. She provided us a wedding timeline that included all of the things important to us, and we met to go over and ensure all of our special moments and photo requests were captured. My fiancé and I had never had professional photos taken prior to our engagement shoot. We are normally so awkward with taking photos, but Mikaila made the experience amazing. She played music, brought the energy, hyped us up, gave us great prompts and poses, and made us super excited and comfortable. SO much more than a photographer. Mikaila was so very attentive to our needs on the day of our wedding and went above and beyond her job description. Do not cut corners on your wedding photos!! They are the only lasting memory of your wedding day. You will not be disappointed with Mikaila Dusenberry Photo!!! She is an amazing woman; full of energy, kind, fun, and most importantly, she is an incredible photographer.

I would recommend Mikaila to anyone, for any occasion. She did our engagement photos in Colorado and after that experience I knew without a DOUBT she had to shoot our wedding photos in Wisconsin. The way she's able to maintain total professionalism while also being an absolute hype chick, instant friend, calmer-of-nerves, problem solver (hello wedding day rain and time crunches), and beacon of positivity is really something else. The support she showed me throughout the entire day is a joy to think back on. And the end result (the photos) speak for themselves.
