I have known for the longest (even before getting engaged) that I wanted Mikaila to be our wedding photographer. I could tell how genuine, passionate, and kindhearted she was just by the way she speaks about all the couples she photographs. Right from the start, Mikaila was quick to respond to emails and she answered all of my questions with consideration and kindness. She provided us a wedding timeline that included all of the things important to us, and we met to go over and ensure all of our special moments and photo requests were captured. My fiancé and I had never had professional photos taken prior to our engagement shoot. We are normally so awkward with taking photos, but Mikaila made the experience amazing. She played music, brought the energy, hyped us up, gave us great prompts and poses, and made us super excited and comfortable.
