Photography has become much more to me than simply taking photos. It has become a way for me to connect with my couples, happy cry with your people when they see you with your dress on on the morning of your wedding day, smile ear to ear when you get to see your partner for the first time, belly laugh with your wedding party on the party bus, and be so touched by your families speeches. This career has led me into the most beautiful of spaces and stories, and I cannot wait to see where it takes me next.

Booking mikaila was the easiest decision and one i'll thank myself (and her) for forever.
I don't know where to start...I would recommend Mikaila to anyone, for any occasion. She did our engagement photos in Colorado and after that experience I knew without a DOUBT she had to shoot our wedding photos in Wisconsin. The way she's able to maintain total professionalism while also being an absolute hype chick, instant friend, calmer-of-nerves, problem solver (hello wedding day rain and time crunches), and beacon of positivity is really something else. I thought a lot about how I wanted my day to be perfect, but I didn't realize how much my vendors' dispositions would play into that whole dynamic until afterwards. Your photographer is with you the whole wedding day, and I'm so happy it was Mikaila standing with me during mine. The support she showed me throughout the entire day is a joy to think back on. And the end result (the photos) speak for themselves. They're honestly art. They're our love and happiness frozen in time, and I can't explain how happy I am that we invested in having Mikaila document our memories. After both sessions we received our photos quickly and they were perfect. The lighting, editing, all of it. Booking her was the easiest decision and one I'll thank myself (and her) for forever.

There are no words for how amazing Mikaila was. Our wedding day and every day leading up to it would not be the same without her!! She was always there for us and went above and beyond to give us everything we dreamed of and more. All of our photos are drop dead gorgeous, they were able to capture so many moments we couldn’t have even imagined. These photos are taken with so much love and everyone could not stop talking about not only how beautiful they turned out but how amazing our photographers were!
