Dreams Riviera Cancún Wedding | Cassie & Mitchel

Cassie & Mitchel are two of the best people I know!! Their destination wedding in Cancún, Mexico at the most beautiful resort, Dreams Riviera Cancún, was truly one for the books. I am so honored that they chose to bring me out to Mexico with them all the way from Wisconsin, to document and celebrate their big day!

This was a wedding I was looking forward to for over a year since they officially locked me in as their wedding photographer. The wedding weekend looked a lot like soaking up the sun, meeting all of their friends and family at the pool bar, and amazing dinners and entertainment.

The actual day of the wedding ended up being beyond perfect. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the Mexico sun did not disappoint! The beginning of the day was so special, meeting up with Cassie, her sister Kelsey, and their Mom, while Cassie got ready and into her dress. It was a surreal moment just knowing how much had gone into the process of getting out to Mexico and planning a destination wedding, so when she finally was able to get her dress on, it felt so real! Once we moved throughout the day and documented so many special moments, from Cassie & Mitch’s first look and private vows, to the fun energy during wedding party photos, the absolutely STUNNING ceremony, and then moving into the beautiful cocktail hour and reception, everything went off without a hitch.

I am beyond blessed to have been the one capturing it all. I am so happy to not only know Cassie & Mitch now, but to also consider them my dear friends!
