Oregon Coast Elopement | Diana & Steven

As a destination wedding photographer, I’m always inspired by the unique energy each couple brings to their destination — and Diana & Steven’s sunny summer elopement on the Oregon Coast was nothing short of unforgettable. With surfers catching waves in the background and the iconic Goonies rock rising above the shoreline, the two of them celebrated their love with laughter, barefoot joy, and some of the most fun beach portraits I’ve ever taken.

They chose the Oregon Coast not just for the scenery, but for the relaxed, carefree vibe that matched their relationship so perfectly. The ceremony took place in the afternoon under clear blue skies — one of those rare, golden days on the coast. With plenty of open space around them, Diana and Steven could truly be themselves, running across the sand, dancing in the sunlight, and soaking up every second of the moment.

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching how easily they made each other laugh. From spontaneous twirls in the tide to quiet moments with the waves at their feet, their connection was effortless — and it came through in every frame. The landscape added just enough drama to the romance, with Haystack Rock (aka the Goonies rock!) providing the perfect backdrop.

If you’re considering eloping in Oregon, I can’t recommend the coast enough. As a destination wedding photographer, I loved seeing how this wild, beautiful place gives couples the freedom to slow down and just be together. Diana & Steven’s day is proof that you don’t need a big crowd or a fancy venue to make it magical — just a little sunshine, a little adventure, and a whole lot of love.
