I have trusted her whole-heartedly without hesitation.
If there is one vendor that I would recommend no matter your budget, location, style, or vision, it would be Mikaila. From our engagement photos to timeline arrangement, to detailed meetings leading up to the big day, I have trusted her whole-heartedly without hesitation. She is personable, creative, and captured our love in a way we didn’t know possible. She books up fast, and there is a reason for that. I could not have chosen a better photographer for our big day.

Mikaila was incredible. Absolutely the sweetest. Blake and I are so so thankful to have found a photographer who matched our chill vibe for our engagement photos, and again on our big day. Honestly, in the days leading up to our wedding, I dreaded all that time in front of the camera. I was afraid everything would be too posed, or our glasses would reflect funny, and we’d be lucky to get a handful of photos where we actually felt we looked GOOD in them. We just got our gallery back, and I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I FELT THAT WAY! Blake and I look so good in all of them, and I’m so glad Mikaila was able to capture so many genuine, happy, candid smiles! Mikaila was everywhere, and no where at the same time which is the best kind of photographer you can have. She was a whiz at wrangling family for portraits. She was so attentive as to what kinds of photos we wanted, and then using the remaining time to get the shots you didn’t know you needed. I hope to never plan another wedding again, but if I had to, I’d pick Mikaila again and again. I recommend her to all my friends getting married in hopes we can hang out with her (& Thomas!) again! You’re the best, Mikaila!

Mikaila is a legend. I can’t thank her enough for capturing our wedding day so elegantly. She’s so sweet and polite and was super accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. She always communicated quickly and checked in with us. She even treated us to coffee to celebrate our engagement shoot! She’s professional and you will LOVE the pictures she produces. I can’t wait to print them and have them in my home! She made my husband and I look gorgeous in every photo while still showcasing off our goofy sides. Even if it’s not for a wedding – treat yourself to some gorgeous photos of you and your favorite people – she will not disappoint. HIRE her!!

Mikaila was absolutely amazing in meeting our needs… she was prompt and very flexible on our wedding day.
We were booked to get married in September 2020 but unfortunately made the decision to postpone last June. We were in need of a new photographer since our previous one was already booked for our new date. Mikaila was absolutely amazing in meeting our needs and her photos are so beautiful. She came all the way from Kenosha to Milwaukee to meet us and provide another round of engagement photos. Her photography skills left us with amazingly beautiful photos to reminisce on forever. She was prompt and very flexible on our wedding day. she captured the best moments of laughter, cheer, and love! We are so obsessed with our photos and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Mikaila photographed our wedding this past August and I swear, I don’t think I actually noticed she was there except for the posed family pictures!! She has an amazing eye and an unbelievable ability to capture the emotion of a moment. She sent us several hundred photos, with the digital rights, and not only did a beautiful job enhancing them, but also kept the natural beauty of the subject.
I NEVER EVER WANT TO PLAN ANOTHER WEDDING EVER AGAIN!!! But if I have to at some point in my life, I’d absolutely call Mikaila up! All in, I’d say shes a wizard.

I never felt like we needed to tell her what to do.
Mikaila did our wedding photos and it was effortless! Her consultation meeting is easy and she makes you feel at ease! The day of the wedding, she was there before we were and was ready to go! I like her style of capturing moments vs poses. My husband and I never felt like we needed to tell her what to do. We also felt comfortable with the photos that she had us take (aka no weird jumping photos!). Thank you, Mikaila, for being such an integral part of our special day!
